Use LassoCut where you already work

One account and one balance of credits behind every tool below: sign in once in each app and the credits are the same everywhere. Most plugins connect the same way — click Sign in with LassoCut, approve in your browser, nothing to copy.

Photoshop

Removes the background of your active document and adds the cut-out as a new layer, in one click; your original layers are only hidden.

  • Where to install: Adobe Creative Cloud Exchange — submitted, pending Adobe's review. This page will link to it as soon as it is live.

Removes backgrounds from images in the Media Library, one by one or in bulk, and from WooCommerce product photos.

Adds a Remove Background step to any Zap: takes an image from Google Drive, Dropbox, Shopify, a form or any other app, and passes on the cut-out.

  • Where to install: in beta while Zapier reviews the public app — add it with the private invite link.

n8n

The LassoCut node for n8n adds a Remove Background step to self-hosted workflows, with size, subject type, format and background colour as options.

  • Where to install: community node, in n8n: Settings → Community Nodes → Install, then enter n8n-nodes-lassocut.
  • Connection: create the LassoCut API credential with a key from your account.

GIMP

Removes the background of the open image and adds the cut-out as a new layer, from Filters › LassoCut. Needs GIMP 3.

  • Where to install: download the plug-in (.zip) and copy it into GIMP's plug-ins folder.

Removes backgrounds from a few files or hundreds at once, straight from the browser: pick a folder, get the results in a folder (Chrome, Edge) or a ZIP.

  • Where to open it: /batch/, nothing to install; add it to your desktop from Chrome or Edge.
  • Connection: Sign in with LassoCut — no key to copy.

A drop-in replacement for the remove.bg CLI: same flags, same -removebg file names, same behaviour on folders and scripts.

  • Where to install: npm install -g lassocut-cli (Node.js 18+), or npx lassocut-cli photo.jpg without installing.
  • Connection: lassocut login opens your browser to sign in; nothing to copy.
